I'm so excited for you! This is truly good news. I posted your sweet gift to me today :) Thanks again so much, it was such a wonderful surprise! I hope you're doing something (go out to dinner with George, etc.) to celebrate being free at last! Cindy
Normal? You are not normal cause you are the mommy...lol. But I am glad it is over for you. You are so funny mother. Since when did you listen to your daughter? But I am glad you did and I am sure they were not laughing at you but with you. I hated having to run back and forth to the rehabilitation center for years for my FM and back so know it is not fun. So here is me running now back and forth for the other issues. Yuk to all hospitals...lol.
See, it was over before you knew it right? Six weeks goes in the blink of an eye.
Happy Dance indeed!! I'm surprised you weren't doing cartwheels :>) Nancy, that's wonderful news! I love the pictures of the little bear and the chains -They capture your feelings perfectlyl...haha! Take it easy now and give your body a chance to get over the intensive treatments : The best is yet to come :>) Hugs Angela
Dear Nancy, I am so glad for you. You can dance now everyday a little bit to forget the last bad months. I know you keep smiling. Hugs and groetjes, Elly
Thrilled your treatments are done and you can now get on with life. I remember how tiring it was going for radiation every day for weeks and weeks - I would drive from my office on my lunch break once I was able to return to work following surgery. Often I cried to myself thinking it would never end.
Afterwards a friend took me to a lovely dinner and I had the best piece of choc. cake for dessert. Then they boxed the remaining cake and sent it home with me - yummy! I'd lost a lot of weight so didn't even feel guilty having cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner, lol!!!!
Be well always from here on out Nancy - hugs from Bob and me XX
Good evening! I didn't get any of Grandma Annie's crochet patterns and since my mom didn't crochet I don't think she got any either. I'll ask my siblings though if anyone got any patterns from mom. I was only 9 when Grandma Annie passed away so I really didn't get much other than a glass jar with JP Coats floss in it and her iron on transfers for flour sack towels to embroider. Through the years mom gave me a few things but the rest I inherited when mom passed on. I use these doilies too on my end tables. I love the look of them and I remember my sweet grandma as she sat and worked on them. She lived with us for most of my life so she was very dear to me. I'll let you know if I track down a pattern.
