Arrival in Phoenix, this was my niece's first flight, she sat with her brother and I was behind them
The next picture is Brenda, Bonnie and Bruce with me at Sedona. The one below that is taken at
Tombstone the day Kristy picked me up. Eric and Laura also met us there. I tried to also post a picture of all of us in Bisbee, but I cannot get it to download. Mandie and her family are on that one.
It has been quite a while since I posted anything. I have had a problem with my camera so
no pictures now. I have made several things but didn't take any pictures. I just got back from
a 21 day trip to Arizona. I was able to spend time with Eric, Laura, Kristy and family and Mandie
and family. I went with my Niece Brenda and Nephew Bruce to visit their sister there. Bonnie and Dave rent a condo in Mesa each year and that is where Mandie lives. I hope I cam post some of the pictures they took while we were there.

ZOE LEARNING TO SEW AT AGE 10
I'm so proud of Zoe, she made this crib quilt for her sister while here visiting me. I had
to get instructions from her Aunt Heidi, I do not quilt. She did a good job for her first
effort. She leaves tomorrow. I will sure miss her.
She could thread the machine and trouble shoot too. The bobbin was a little problem and she learned how to fix it. The whole thing came out twice. She did great.

MY GIFTS FOR MOTHER'S DAY
Mandie, Manny, Zoe and Abby sent me tulips for Mother's Day. Today Bill brought me flowers and
a really nice card. Very sentimental.
Then in comes Eric with a giant card and a tin of cookies. This card is about 24 x 18.
Kristy and I talked about an hour today also.
Thanks to each of you

HAPPY EASTER
We had our Easter Dinner today since Bill is working a double tomorrow. Heidi always tells me about
the great things she finds at Aldi. I stopped in today and found these foil wrapped eggs, bunnies and the
large bunny from Germany. The marshmallow eggs were given to me by the friend I made the pink scarf
for. The bags are "Easter Baskets" I gave my guest today. George and I didn't get one. LOL
The plate of cookies were from my cousin, Louise, when she came for dinner. We had a nice day.
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter

A GIFT FOR ME AND ONE FOR A FRIEND
I received these beautiful flowers from Mandie, Manny, Zoe and Abby for my birthday. They have come out so pretty. I have them sitting right beside my chair. Thank you again for thinking of me in such a nice way.
Almost four years ago I had surgery for Breast Cancer. I met another woman who was having her surgery also with the same surgeon. She was so scared and shook up that I befriended her while sitting in a wheel chair waiting to get a marker inserted for our surgery. I made her a winter scarf a couple a years ago, and now decided to make this one for her. Hope she likes it. So far, we are both cancer free.
