Bill, Eric, Becky and I went to Arizona to visit my Grandchildren at Ft. Huachuca Army Post. We had a great week and Kristy, who is a photographer, took our family pictures with a mountain background. Four generations.
This is the OK Corral in Tombstone. I love that town. They still have the wooden sidewalks. I never get tired of it.
This is one of the tombstones in the Boothill Cemetary. There is a ton of history here and also at the Army Museum on Post.
More of Tombstone. You can get rides on the stage. They don't let cars on this road now, so this must have been taken awhile ago. We ate lunch at Big Nose Kates. Eric used to go there with Fawn, so it was memory time for him.
Thanks to Kristy and Mitch for a fun week. That is what memories are made of.

Larry's brother was stationed at Fort Huachuca when I started dating him but I had no idea it was so near Tombstone! It's kind of funny that the first time I went to a new gynecologist in town after the exam he asked me "so how's Michael doing now?" I about fell off the examining table! He knew Michael (Larry's brother) at Fort Huachuca and had gone to his wedding a year before I got married and recognized me from the reception! It was a bit uncomfortable for me to say the least! I loved this doctor though and bz of him and his innovative procedures and surgeries I was able to have my four kids that all the other doctors told me I'd never have. Life is strange sometimes isn't it and it's such a small world.
Glad you got to see your family and that it was such a nice visit. Even the bittersweet memories of Fawn must have brought her back for a moment or two. I'm glad Eric could go to.
Aunt Nancy,
Sounds like a fun visit! I remember going to Tombstone with you and Fawn when I brought Mom & Dad out to visit you in Arizona. I looked at your family photo session. They are beautiful pics. Kristy does a great job.
love,
Shari

Looks like a wonderful trip! So glad that both Kristy & Mandie are in the same state now and it's easier for you to visit them both. Thank goodness they have you!
Haven't heard from you in awhile and I hope everything is okay. You're probably off traveling and having a great time! I just wanted to stop by and say hi and let you know I was thinking about you!

Sounds like another great trip.
Glad you enjoyed your trip out there Nancy. My BIL lives in Sierra Vista and worked at Ft. Huachuca until his retirement some years back - I've visited, had a good time but could never live there in the desert!
Tombstone is fun!
Hope life is good -I'm following Heidi's house stories and upcoming move!
