How very sweet to have this reminder of Fawn just in time for Christmas. May this be a very Merry Christmas for you and those you hold dear.

You need not be disappointed anymore about my eyes peering over Trav's shoulder bz I just posted about the brunch and there's a picture of me on there. I'm getting braver every day, lol! When it's important to my kids I agree to be in pictures, I just don't often post them.

It's been quite a ride but I sure enjoy having him home. He's such a gentle soul and I have to remember that he's a man now and not the young teenager I sent out on his mission. I wouldn't have it any other way either!

Funny that when I finally found this song online, that the person had used photos of my village that you and Fawn made for me without asking for permission (which I would have given but they should have asked). That was one long sentence...lol. I think of this song when I set up my village but then how could I not think of both of you as I do too.

Before we know it, it will be time for Christmas Village to go to sleep until another Christmas and another story.....

Love and hugs,
Heidi

Thanks for telling us about Fawn, Nancy. I know so many parents today who don't treat their adult children very nicely or really appreciate their adult children - I'm sure she was a lovely lady and it is so nice to see a mom who is proud of her adult children instead of cutting them down or pointing out their faults. Merry Christmas Nancy.

I remember Mom singing this song and "I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus" every year growing up. I find myself missing her much more now that I have 2 kids of my own. I think of her often for no particular reason and of course always around the holidays. Hard to believe that Kristy and I are almost the age she was when she passed. Thanks for posting this Gramma! Manny, the girls and I love you! Merry Christmas :)
