This is what happened to a very old spoon, when Eric was mixing the stuffing in the next picture.
Using one of my four very old mixing bowls, he is stirring the stuffing and whoops.
The turkey is ready to come out of the roaster now, but it is falling apart so first the stuffing has to come out. He is hunting a strong spoon. LOL
Ok, he has it under control now with a stainless steel spoon, should be safer. Sorry, the picture is a little bit blurred.
Ok Heidi, Eric also made the chocolate pie, and here is one piece left just for you.
You better hurry, I think George might find it this evening. It is very good too.
Thanks Eric, for all you help.
On November 12th, my niece (on the left) celebrated her 60th birthday. I cannot believe it, but it is true. On the right is her sister, Bonnie. Bonnie lives in Pennsylvania and came to surprise Brenda.
Brenda's daughter, Mindy, had a surprise party for her Mom and she really was surprised. It was good to have some time with both of these special girls.
Thanks Bonnie, for the picture. Hope we get to visit you soon.
I just found out I won a giveaway on Robin, Bittersweet Punkin's blog. Thank you so much Robin.
The other day, I stopped in Big Lots and not even looking for one, I found this book. I love this author and was very pleased to come upon this sale. I am about half way through it now.
Most of you know I bought a laptop about 6 months ago and took it back. I have been looking ever since. Walmart had an ad this week for this laptop so off I went, with my Son, to see if it was as good as it sounded. It is.
This laptop is a 4 gh of ram, full keyboard and really nice. The one I had to finally give up on that I had for about 5 years, was an Acer and I loved it. So far, this one is just great. It was onsale at Walmart for $348.00. We thought we would get there and one, they wouldn't have any, or two they would not really be 4 gh of ram. I still have my mini for travel, but it wasn't great for everyday use. I think they are better now though. I bought it too fast. Oh well, live and learn. If I had it to do over, I would buy the 10 inch, not the 8 but it is so light to travel with, it will still go with me.
I just received this picture of our cute little Vampire aka, Zoe. I cannot believe that she is now 50 inches tall. Mandie just measured her for me. She is only 7.
Ok, here is a good question for you, how can a vampire be scary when she has no front teeth. LOL. She is giving it a good try. I love you Zoe.
