REMEMBER OUR TROOPS PAST AND PRESENT

We should honor our troops everyday, but please remember them especially this weekend. They do so much for this country.
I didn't plant these, but they come up each year for me to enjoy. I know they are Iris, but I grew up calling them flags.
I did plant these, and they also come up each year. They do not last long however.

Here's hoping that everyone remembers that Memorial Day is about more than barbecue's and having fun to kick of summer. So many have given the ultimate sacrifice and you're right, we all need to honor them and remember on this day. Have a good day.

Thanks for stopping by. I wasn't with Brianna when she took these pictures but when I saw them the blog just wrote itself!

P.S. I only took the ones of the actual graduation ceremony. The zoom on my camera worked pretty good for her graduation. My other kids don't have near these nice of pictures of their graduation or this close up.

I am thinking of the best veteran I know...my dad! What kind of flowers did you put on his grave? Did they put a flag on it too?

Love seeing the flowers in your yard. I know you do not like to garden but you should as seeing the flowers are your reward for the work.

Love and hugs,
Heidi

Nancy...HELP!! I need to make some Raggedy Ann dolls and the person I'm making them for wants different yarn colors than I can find here. Do you have a good internet site for yarn that's the type that I put on your doll? That yarn is Red Heart. I need to find an aqua blue and a slight peachy/orange color to match the clothing she's picked out. Any help would be much appreciated. I need some more muted colors like that too. Thanks!
