A SHOWER FOR ABIGAIL

Remember the yarn I showed you in a former blog entry, well this is what I made out of it.
Abilgail Lynn is due on July 1st, and yesterday Manny's Mom and Dad hosted a shower for her family. This was a part of my gift.
We were all invited, Bill, Eric, Becky, Mandie, Manny and Zoe. George didn't get in the picture. Eric and Becky were leaving to go to Toledo.
I had to pat my new Great Granddaughter of course.
Here is the family, who will be flying back to Arizona this afternoon.
Here she is, my Zoe. Needless to say, I love my Great Grandchildren, they are all three wonderful. It was so nice to be with them yesterday and we sure missed our Hale family.

Oh Nancy, those are beautiful. What an incredible talent you have with needles and yarn. This truly will be an heirloom for little Abigail Lynn. You have such an adorable family. I remember hearing about Zoe before bz her name is one Brianna thought about when Bailee was born, so I'm really happy to put a face with the name, and she's cute too boot! I think that there's nothing better in the world than sharing time with those we love most and I can tell by the smile on your face that you feel the same!

The outfit is lovely Nancy, and like the little flower on the hat Very pretty yarn. Beautiful photos of your family.

You have something wonderful to look forward to - a new baby to spoil.

I haven't been on here much but I just hopped on and see that I have missed a lot. We had a great time at the shower and we were so glad you were all able to make it. Now I've only got 14 days left before Abigail arrives and I have to say I can't wait to hold my baby in my arms. She's been a rolly polly little girl lately and I think she wants out :) I'm so anxious to see what she will look like. Love you very much Gramma and thank you again for the knitted outfit :) She now has a new one to go with the ones I kept from when Zoe was a baby. I may have to start a new blog now that Abby is almost here!
