SOME BIRTHDAY GIFTS

Today I went to the mailbox and there was a package from Christine from our online stitching group. I love to knit and this sock pattern book is great. She sent a beginners cross stitch that is oh so cute. I love the card also. Thank you for thinking of me Christine. Christine's blog can be viewed from my list on the side.
This is part of my gifts from Kristen, Mitch, Haali and Mitchell. They gave them to me in New York. I also received a daily message calendar and almond joy bars. She bought a cake and had a party. Thanks again to my special kids, hope you will be feeling better soon. Kristen's blog is Christian Crafter, also on my side list.
My birthday is over and still I am receiving cards and gifts. Thanks to everyone for the good wishes.

Oh, what a lovely gifts. The socks look beautiful. Shame to put on shoes when wearing these socks!

By the way: you did read, dear Nancy (I WROTE ABOUT IT!), that I'm not the one who likes to be on a picture????? There are a number of reasons for that (red nose etc.). So be prepared for a great shock when viewing a picture of me shortly! (I am more out than in the coming 2 days, but it will come ... ) Please sit down before you open my blog :)
Have a nice day! Greetings, Carolien

This is a great knitting book for you from Christine. Just perfect. I love the frame Kristy and family gave you too. And now you will get a little something from me when you get here so it is STILL your birhtday. :)

Now I am telling you that you will not have to sit down when you open Carolien's blog. But I do know how she feels as I don't like having my picture taken either.

Love and hugs ~
Heidi

How lovely...its nice to still receive gifts after your birthday has passed...it's kind of like having a birthmonth!

Isn't it great to have such an extended birthday? And someone told me that it's not finished yet .....

Isn't it fun to make your birthday last all month? Aunt SHari taught me that!
