A GIFT AND A PROJECT

I received this wonderful gift for a belated birthday gift from Roberta, who has been far to busy moving to send me a gift, but she did. What a lovely surprise. Thank you so much. It is all so very cute. It will be put to good use very soon.

This is the project I have been practicing for. Henry the VIII and his wives. I am doing a project now for my June swap gift for our online stitching group. I am then going to start this project. Thank you again Angela for the pattern.

How nice that Roberta sent you a birthday package. Now you could do a stitching journal in the book you know? :) And we know that you are an avid stitcher now. Now you know that you have to include all the wives on the pattern even though you have now decided that you don't like Ann Boleyn. LOL! Off with her head right?!?

Love and hugs ~

Nancy,
Isn't it nice when birthday gifts just keep on arriving :>) Roberta always seems to know exactly the right thing to choose.
I can't wait to see you start henry. I'm sure you will fill me with inspiration
Warm hugs, Angela

Nancy, I just love how you took to cross stitch like a duck to water :) Henry will be a big project but it looks very colourful and should be a joy to stitch.
Love your gift from Roberta.

Hello Nancy,

Lovely gift from Angela! And I'm sure you will skip from wife to wife and before you know ... you will have to look for another king with MORE wives! :)

Hugs, Carolien

What a nice gift from Roberta - she is a sweet one!

I'm so happy you have your chart, and I think you will have a lot of fun stitching this. I love the border on this design! Can't wait to see your start.
