IS IT REALLY NOVEMBER?

At 7:30 AM today, I was talking to Heidi on Skype before leaving to meet my friend for breakfast. We go each Wednesday we can. I looked out the window and saw this beautiful sky.

I took three angles, and all were different. I love looking at the sky. It can be so wonderful at times.
I am having a very hard time thinking next week is Thanksgiving. Our weather is unseasonably warm. I went out grocery shopping and I think I have everything except the turkey. I am not cooking until Sunday. Bill works a double on the holiday and Eric and Becky will be in Toledo with her family. I told them Sunday will work out better for all of us. I hope you all have a great dinner, wherever you go. I am cooking the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and yes Heidi, I am baking pies.
Chocolate Peanut Butter will be one.

Hello Nancy,

I hope you will have a nice Thanksgiving meal together on Sunday! Bon appétit!

I ordered the bank today to pay for the poncho's (to Heidi).
Thanks again & hugs, carolien

Now I get to see the sky you described to me. :-) I am glad you enjoyed your breakfast and hope you told Patty my message? Are you going to start baking pies? You could make a chocolate peanut butter pie.

Love and hugs ~

Nancy hi
Your pictures are stunning. I love the sky too and this one is especially beautiful.
It is strange trying to get into the mood when the weather is so topsy turvey but, it's a lovely celebration and, as it grows nearer, you'll begin to feel it's magic :>)
Warm hugs Angela

Nancy, beautiful morning sky!

Have a happy celebration with your family....I'm cooking too. I'm so loving forward to turkey and all the trimmings, but most of all the leftovers

Hi Nancy,

What a beautiful sky, thank you for sharing.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving with your family. Wayne and I are going to have steaks on the grill, baked spuds and salad. We have already had turkey three times this week and will have it this Sunday and again on Wednesday.

Can I come to your house on Sunday for peanut butter pie?

Hugs,
Barbara

Sounds as if you have having lots of great family over for Thanksgiving! We are having 20 people total - it will be a little bit busy! It is so nice to celebrate Thanksgiving with family all around the dinner table. I really don't understand people that go out to a restaurant when you can be at home with family. Happy Thanksgiving!

Wonderful pictures, Nancy. Here we have temperatures like in September, and it's rainy. Good for me as I'm not longing for snow.
I don't know thast pie that you mention but it sounds terrific just from its name, lol.

Hi Nancy
Chocolate peanut butter pie sounds very decadent! I posted about the sky too. We saw an awesome sunset. Happy Thanksgiving.

Somehow I missed this post. We used to have Thanksgiving on Sunday's bz of my husband's schedule. He worked every holiday of the year for 16 years. On Thanksgiving we'd have Papa Murphy's pizza! It's the togetherness that matters, not the particular day. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving! It snowed today so we're having the opposite of you. It's been unseasonably cold. Brrr. :)

Those are some great shots of the sky, but what really matters is that you noticed it. I can't wait for the chocolate peanut butter pie...and I don't even have to share any with Heidi!!! lol (Love you sis)
