I have to post an update for Heidi of the cross stitch I am doing for her. It is coming along now. I am doing the lettering which I changed to all one color. Each word was different and that didn't seem like Heidi to me. I have to do the border after that.
I taught my Daughter in Law, Becky to cross stitch and gave her three patterns and boy she went to town. She is already on the third one. She spent the afternoon with me yesterday and we stitched and chatted. It was fun.
I have been wanting to get a recliner again. My niece was downsizing and had this one in storage. I bought it from her. I love it. I gave her more than she asked for it. It is so compfy.

If you get to comfy, you will fall asleep instead of stitching or reading a good book...lol. Where is your new light you bought? Is it by this chair? The stitching is coming along so nicely. It looks beautiful and maybe we should go back to compare it with the real house again??? :-)
Love and hugs ~
Heidi
Beautiful work! This recliner does look really comfy. We have the furniture store coming out yet again to fix our reclining love seat. I don't have to pay anything for it but it gets old having to call them over and over. They're waiving the repair fee though so at least it isn't costing me anything! I hope this time that it's fixed for real. Enjoy your new chair! Glad you have a stitching buddy to chat with too.
O, that's lovely! And so Heidi. And that chair will be a good one, for the Library Heidi's thinking about..
Oh, what a a comfy cozy chair....perfect for stitching too.
Heidi's house is looking so pretty....it going to be so nice for her new home. I think it's so neat you taught Becky xstitching, it's going to be fun getting together especially during the winter snows...hugs, Linda
I was all set to ask how your eyes handle the tiny stitches and I saw your ott light by your beautiful new chair (i want one so badly) I am not sure what to ask for for my birthday in 3 months, the chair or the light, heck maybe I will just ask for both!
What a comfy looking chair - just perfect for stitiching, reading, and cat-napping!
Hello dear Nancy,
That sure is a very comfy chair to make lots of stitches in ... You'll probably need a second one for Becky ;) How nice to stitch together!
You are wayyyyyyyyy too sweet for those Dutch girls ... goats and all ...
Bye & love, Carolien
