ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

This is a major attraction in our Amish area. It is in Kidron, Ohio and they had to close due to flooding. The store is partly under water.
This picture was taken in Shreve, Ohio. People just don't believe it when they read the signs that say high water. So many are just attempting to go through it.
They are searching for a woman who yesterday called 911 to say her VW bug went into the river. As of last night, they did not find her.
We have a creek running through our park system, and it is angry and running over the banks. We have had tons of snow, then thunder and lightening and now the floods. Come on Spring, Ohio is more that ready. We do have sun today.

Oh my gosh that is swift and high. I read on the news where two Amish kids were washed away. I don't remember the state it was in but I thought of you by Amish country when I saw that. It was so sad. I hope you get some sunshine soon and the flooding stops. I'm with you about spring! I shoveled a ton of heavy, heavy snow a few days ago and I'm still aching from it!

Yikes! Lehman's cannot be under water. I pray they did find the woman even if it did not make the news. It is so sad.

Remember the street in Canton that always flooded with the slightest heavy shower? People always drove there too even though the signs warned them not to. Why do people do that?

I am sure the sun is going to start drying up all that water soon. And you bulbs will grow...

Love and hugs,
Heidi

That is really much to much water.

Hi Nancy...that water does look angry and swift...we live by the river and it has come up 16ft in the past few day...I always worry about the levees. We've been checking on our houseboat evey other day, so far so good. Sadly the lady in the news story did not survive. It was Lisa, the Primitive Needle designer...just so sad.

Well you take care...I hope sunny days are on the way..hugs, Linda

Nancy,
What tragic sights. How sad for everyone who has been affected and such terrible news on the death of Lisa from The Primitive needle and the children who were washed away.
I hope things begin to improve for everyone soon.
Thinking of you Angela xx

Nancy, I've been traveling again and not had time to keep up with all my dear blog friends, forgive me!
After visiting Heidi today I just had to stop here. So sorry that Ohio is having such a rough time with the weather still - I pray there are no deaths from this terrible flooding.

Enjoyed your Tripoli pics......gosh, that heat at the beach must have been unbearable. Good thing you're not there now - Florida sounds much safer Have fun!

Hugs, Mary

So much water. You stay on high ground and don't go near the water. Glad you are safe and dry!
