A Christmas Present

Today I picked up my sister to go to lunch and some shopping, We exchanged our Christmas gifts, so she got her red mittens and the other things I got for her. She gave me three books. Her daughter is a manager for Books Are Fun and she found these there for me.

The first one, Sewing looks like some projects Heidi will love to make. I will probably take it with me to Holland in the spring for her to look at. This one is Crochet which I do but not as often as Knitting.
This one will be my favorite I am sure. I have already gone upstairs to my yarn stash for two projects I want to make before I go to New York. I might have to post them from there if they work out as I hope they will. Sorry for the flash back in the photos.

How fun Aunt Nancy. I saw those books at work and instantly thought of Kristen! I should ge them for myself...oh wait, I don't think I'll have the time with a newborn coming soon! Thanks for taking my Nanny to lunch today!

What wonderful gifts Nancy! I can't wait to see what you make using the knitting book, and I'm sure you had lots of fun browsing through the other two. Your sister must think you are pretty special! How did she like her red mittens?

Tell Ruthie thanks for me too. :) After all, I have already put in my order for the crocheted shawl. LOL!

Did you start on the first project already???

Love and hugs ~

Hi Aunt Nancy,
I'm so glad you liked the books. I thought you would. Mom was so excited when she saw those.
Have a safe trip to Kristy's and tell everyone hello for me.
Merry Christmas!
