Today, while talking on Skype, Heidi was telling Nancy and Margaret about our mother/daughter trip to The Cotswolds in England. My penpal from Yorkshire
and her daughter, Heidi and I went for a week to a cottage we rented. It was a
wonderful trip, while there, we all decided to try needlepoint. This is the one I did.
I bought a pillow canvas there, but I haven't done it yet. Maybe we need to return
to that cottage and sit in front of the coal fire Heidi.

How pretty Nancy. I think the dark background really sets it off.
I think a return trip is in order. You go girls! :-)
Wow...that is very pretty...looks like it took a lot of patience! I love the colors...

Gramma that is just gorgeous! The tulips seem to leap off that canvas! :o) But then again, everything you make is beautiful!

And isn't this just so BEAUTIFUL!!! You did a great job on it and both you and my English mum took off on your first try at needlepoint. But then I knew you could if you just try it. Now I would go back there and sit and do needlework by that fire anyday!!!
Love and hugs ~
Heidi
Can I come too, please, please, pretty please!!! Tulips are my favorite flowers - tell Heidi I plan to come and see both them and her in Holland some day!
You did a beautiful job on this needlepoint Nancy - it's a very British type of needlework so only fitting you did it while in the lovely Cotswolds.
Wow Nancy, that is such a gorgeous piece! The tulips almost look real. You are a lady of many talents!
