BIRTHDAY GIFTS AND MORE

An online stitching friend named Hazel, who lives in England and I will meet in May in Holland, sent me these wonderful little miniatures she stitched. She also hand made the card. I will treasure them and they will be in a place of honor in one of my dollhouses. Thank you Hazel.

This wonderful handstitched heart shaped pin keep and very pretty card is also from an online friend. She is from England, but now lives in sunny Spain. Thank you so much Margaret for taking time to think of me. I hope you are having only good news about your mother now that you are with her in England.

Diane, also from our stitching group sent me this very pretty card with her own very kind words in it. Thank you Diane, and thank you also for the varigated thread. It is beautiful.

This gift and card is from my pen pal in England. The necklace is so delicate and even the box is pretty. We have been pen pals since we were 8 years old. ( A longggggg time) Thank you Marlene.

Tomorrow we are leaving for New York to visit Kristy and family. This is the second baby afghan I finished and will be taking for her to donate to the post organization.
The following picture is me on the left, and my friend Vicki, who now lives in Virginia. We have
been friends since we were five years old when her family moved to our neighborhood. She sent this picture to me online with a birthday wish. Thank you Vicki, I miss you. We were so cool with our fat socks and rolled up jeans. LOL. It was just a few years ago. OH MYYYYY. Have a wonderful Easter.

You sound as if you have had a wonderful birthday with such beautiful gifts. I love the photo sent by your dear friend - you both look as if you have walked out of a scene from that fantastic film, Grease!!

My little gift will, hopefully be there to greet you on your return from your trip to NY. I hope you have a wonderful time :>)

Isn't it fun to be part of a stitching group online mother??? I knew you would have fun and now you have even started stitching yourself! I love the gifts. You will have to find fun spots for your miniatures in your various dollhouses. Just a reason to play huh. Margaret's pinkeep is really great and perfect for the start of spring. I need to get a little floral wreath pattern copied for you to use that thread.

Be safe driving to Kristy's and have a great time. I know you will.

Love and hugs ~
Heidi

P.S. ~ It is funny to read comments on me saying your age. We are so silly about trying to hide how old we are. We should be proud of it and age is relative anyway. After all, I have been 4 four times now. :)

Nancy, you sure looked like you had a great birthday. Your gifts are so special. Mine will be a bit late getting to you.

The second afghan looks very nice, and it is so nice that you are doing this. I like community projects that I can do at home.

Happy Easter also,
Roberta
