READING, STITCHING AND MOWING THE LAWN

Here are two of the five books I just finished reading. These are Kristen's and Haali's books. They are very fast reading. I just also read About Face by Fern Michaels, Country Brides by Debbie Macomber and Crazy in Love by Luanne Rice. The last three I found at a flee market and they were just like new.

Today I started stitching Catherine Howard. Heidi read the biography to me on Skype. I said maybe I should stitch her minus her head. I am starting with her head so maybe not.

Heidi requested this picture when I told her I was going to cut the grass. She had to see it to believe it and rightly so. I convinced George to buy a self propelled mower so I could push it. Well, it takes me around the yard at the slowest speed I can hardly keep up with it. Good that he bought one with multi speeds. He isn't feeling up to par, and I needed the exercise.

Oh Nancy,
It's so good to see you again. I can almost reach out and give you a hug. You look as if you are having a great time out there with your mower.

Those books look really interesting. I'm in the middle of an intriguing book by Amy Tan. it's her latest one.

Divorced, Beheaded, Died, Divorced, Beheaded Survived. That's the little verse my sister teaches her class to help them remember what happened to these poor ill fated wives!
Warm hugs, Angela

You GO Gramma! :o) It's actually cooled off here some so that we might be able to mow now too! The grass looks awful! But I'm glad you got some exercise and I'm sorry to hear George isn't feeling well. Please tell him we are thinking of him! I got your package and will be posting about it soon! Love you!!!!

Okay mother, I guess that is kind of proof. I just cannot believe that MY MOTHER got outside and cut the grass. Well, that is not true as you DID cut the grass when we lived out in the country and we had that riding lawn mower. I somehow think that is cheating though. :) Now you can put your feet up and work on restoring one of Henry's wives' heads. LOL!

Love and hugs ~

You did a good job with that mowing machine! Good luck with the wives of Henry again ...

By the way, you shouldn't give me such sweet compliments on my blog, I'm blushing all the time I read them!!! :)

Bye and hugs, Carolien

Hi Nancy, Henry turned out great!

I've read all of Laura Child's and I really enjoy her style. I just picked up the next book in the sisterhood seris by Fern Michaels...I like her too. Hugs, Linda
