READY TO START

I just finished my summer swap handmade gift, so I am now ready to start stitching Henry VIII and his wives. I am going to start with half of Henry so I can begin in the center. This is with Heidi's advice. The center couple rows of the pattern are missing. I will then go off to the side and do one of the wives.
This pattern is the reason I started cross stitching, so wish me luck. All of the thread is ready and the right aida cloth selected per the pattern directions.
Angela, are you ready to begin also?

Hi Nancy,

What a beautiful project you are beginning! The end result is going to be a gorgeous stitched piece, and I have all faith in you that you will accomplish it with no problem. Look how fast you learned cross stitching! I will look forward to seeing your progress on your blog. Have fun!

This looks interesting Nancy. Right now we are having an amazing (and somewhat dangerous) heatwave and the temps. will be 101 both Sat. & Sun. so I will stay inside. Certainly too sticky for knitting!!

Missed you at Rhondi's Porch Party today - hope those dastardly neighbors aren't keeping you from a good night's sleep. French guest room is empty if you need to rest your weary head. So quiet here you can hear your pins drop!

Have a fun weekend - Mary.

Very good mother. I am sure you will have the missing part before you even get far enough to jump over to one of his wives. You and Angela can do a SAL all your own as soon as she starts hers. Post photos every now and then showing us all how far you are...

Love and hugs ~
Heidi

I can't wait to see the finished project, it will be stunning, I'm sure.

I hope that you realize that with so many people wanting progress reports, we won't let you turn it into a UFO.
