BUTTONS AND MORE WORK
Heidi thought the poncho was a kid size. I wanted to show it is adult size. I will be making smaller ones also.
These are the buttons that have inspired me to knit ponchos. I showed you the stack of yarn on the other entry, well, that was only the beginning. If Eric looks at these buttons, he will know what color yarn will go with the bottom right. His favorite.
Bill and I went to Walmart and I went back to yarn to buy (one) that is 1 skein of yellow yarn. Ok, we went a little crazy. We picked these buttons to work well for teens. Had to but yarn for them, right.
The bottom buttons on the right, I liked so much I bought them twice. They will be different yarns though. One poncho using these buttons is almost finished. I will show you when I complete it. The fringe is not fun to do and I force myself to finish one completely before I go on. I ended up with more yarn than I bought the first time. Maybe I need a store.

The bottom button sets on the last photo are my favorites. I think that combo is so cute. I think those will look great on the ponchos but they all will. I can see some little girls being thrilled with them. Now stay home and keep warm and rest so you can feel better. Knitting will keep you busy while you do! And that is an order from you little girl. :-)
Love and hugs ~

Wow! That is much bigger than it looked in the other photo.
