KNIT OR READ, HUMMMMMM

This is another small poncho. You can maybe see the size by the footstool it is on. It is about a size 3 I would guess. It has smiley buttons. I have one ready to put fringe on now and another one half done. Tonight will be a fringe night I think. I like to totally finish them, but I started the one half done while on the bus trip. I want to keep knitting these so I will have plenty to sell at the craft show in October.

Now, my problem is, I love to read. I just finished a Debbie Macomber book that a friend lent to me. It was the Manning Brides. Now, I just bought this JD Robb (aka Nora Roberts) and can't wait to get it started. I love all of her books. JD Robb books go in order, if you ever think you might try them. The characters are great.

Of course, I couldn't leave this one in the store. It is a Nora Roberts. It makes me mad though. It is a larger paperback, so, more money too. I just started it today.
You can see my dilema now, Knit or Read.

You need to get talking books at the library so you can knit AND read. I am just stitching away now because I still have to rest constantly. I am so ready to get off this couch and stat doing lots of fun decorating and things in my house. Clean some too. But for now, I will just stitch. Stitch...remember that? You know as in Indian? LOL! Sorry but I had to tease you about your poor old Indian.

I am reading the Abram's Daughters series since I never did read books 2 and 3. So tell me...will Leah marry Jonas and Gid since you already you already read it? :-) You could come and read it aloud to me so I can stitch.

Love and hugs ~

Yes, Heidi has a great idea!! I always say I need to get audio books so I can "read" while driving...lol.

LOVE the shawls...I bet they'll be a hit at the craft show!

I wonder what you decided? I saw the queen Anne's lace that Mary picked. We picked it on the same day I think!
The yellow poncho is very cute.

Read a chapter, knit a few rows, read a chapter, knit a few rows

Once again a lovely poncho!
Thanks for your kind blog comment Nancy.

I can't believe how fast you knit! Reading is a great hobby too. I love to read, always have. I like Heidi's idea though if you really want to do both. I find my mind wanders though with books on tape so I'd rather just read it. Good luck with the decision!
