PLANNING A TRIP

I didn't take these pictures, but on Friday, we are going on a bus trip to Washington, DC. We used to live in Maryland, and visited the Capital many times, but I don't think you ever see it all.
It is Cherry Blossom time now, so I hope the weather is good and the blossoms are out in full. Hopefully, I will be able to get some pictures while I am there.
PS: Thanks Heidi for the new sides on my blog. LOL I can manage the picture on top, but not the background.

Well, DC is a wonderful city and you just never tire of looking around it. I am sure you will have a great time again. I have seen it with the cherry blossoms and it is a sight to see!

Love and hugs,

Have a wonderful time. I love DC! Jason and I went on our first anniversary (this same week 5 years ago) while I was very pregnant with Lily. I can't wait to take the kids there sometime in the future! Be safe!

You have a fun new look on the blog! Someday I should get some courage and change mine up a bit, but you know how long it takes me to do anything so it may be another decade before I do, lol! I hope that you have a great time on your trip. I'd love to go there sometime. I also have a dream of going to Gettysburg and some other historical sites along with historical sites for my church. Our time will come later when the kids are raised. Patience, I must learn patience...

Washington, D.C. was my first home in the US - and I was overcome by all the wonderful things to see and explore. I lived there 2 years and always enjoy going back to retrace those years in the sixties - many memories!!!!!
