First Snowfall and Snowman

This morning we went outside to the first snow fall that stayed on the ground. It lasted only a very short time, but reminded me it is Snowman time at my house. I have to start getting my collection out a little at a time. This is number one for this year.

Cute! But as I just told you it needs to be filled with mittens so get out your knitting needles. And then, of course, we need to see a new photo of it. Wait till you get to show everyone your special Christmas tree.

SinterKlaas arrives here on Saturday from Spain on his steamboat. Want to drop by for some tea and speculaas?

Love and hugs ~
Heidi

Yes I do Heidi, I remember when you had sint visit when I was there with your Aunt Janie, and my English pen pal Marlene. What fun that was.

Hi Nan...I didn't make the safety pin trees...I bought them from thrift stores...I don't know if I would have the patience...they would have to be super easy for me to complete them.LOL.
Thanks for visiting me...I can't wait to see your Snowman collection..I am going to add you to my blogroll if that's ok with you.
Blessings,
Robin

We had snow here this morning too Nancy. And it actually laid on the ground until about 9:30. It's still flurrying a little right now. Great idea about the snowmen. I have a million of them you know. Time to start busting them out!

Love,
Julie

Hi Nancy, I was delighted you stopped by my blog. Oh my....you have had snow already? Brrrrr... Even though we had such a warm and no rain Fall I have never seen our fall leaves so beautiful and lasting so long. I hope you'll visit me often. Cheers, Lynn

Hi Nancy! Yes, Heidi would love a scotty - and the scotty would love her, too. They are sweeeeet dogs. I know she has her heart set though on a Corgi, which are wonderful little ones, too.

Cute snowman! Do share all of your other ones!!!! Hope all has been great for you!

xo,
Becky

Nancy, I am so jealous that you have snow! That is one thing I really miss living in South Carolina. We usually get ice if anything in the winter.

Don't you just love snowmen? I am very much looking forward to seeing your snoman collection!

Oh, it is time for Christmas! I am so excited! What a blessing this holiday season will be. Your snowmen are so much fun to look at and there are so many that you can never really see them all! :)

Amazingly, we had a very light sprinkling of snow last night but it soon turned to rain. I know it makes life very difficult but I love to see the snow drifting down and lightly settling making everywhere look magical. Seeing your first snowman makes me realise what a wonderful treat we have in store. I know the rest are going to be fantastic :-)
