HEIDI'S BOBBIN LACE

These are lace pieces Heidi has made for me over the years. I treasure them all. She is one very talented girl and I am so glad she is my daughter
This is the bedspread for my dollhouse, a red and green doily and two rings to go into glass for candles.

A bookmark and small doily

My favorite, a beautiful doily. There is another one I forgot to take a picture of, it is also a doily, in a frame made to display lace

A pretty little red doily

Lace made to frame a picture

A star to display a candle, a bookmark and a paperweight. A key chain I am supposed to use, but don't. I keep most of the pieces displayed under glass on
my dining room table.

Hi Aunt Nancy!
Found your blog on Amy's while I was checking on Charlie! Love the Bobbin Lace Heidi makes - it is just sooooo beautiful! She is so talented - just like her mom! Speaking of Moms - Mom LOVES her red mittens you made her for Christmas! She has them on ALL the time! I'm going to check out all of your blogs, Heidi, Kristy, and Mandie! You guys are all just a little too talented! hehehe Take care and hopefully see you soon!
Love ya,
PJ

Heidi's lace is just amazing - what patience she must have - don't think (actually I know for sure!) I could ever create beauty like this.

How great you will be visiting Holland for an entire month - that's a true vacation with family. Years ago I did that a couple of times when I traveled home to the UK - only bad thing was I shopped so much I had to mail half of it back here in boxes - so expensive!

So happy for Kristen - sounds like a good move!

Well, gee mother, I am glad I am your daughter too cause I feel so glad that you and Dad always encouraged me to try making things. Doing that from a young age made me into what I am today. Of course, Jos might say that something is a crazed handworker. LOL! I am sitting by the woodstove today with my stitching since it is storming away outside. Dagi is a happy kitty since he can sit on my lap and be warm by the fire.

Love and hugs ~
Heidi

I love doilies...I treasure all the ones that I have. I am not gifted enough to make them myself...I love all yours...they are more special when they were made with love aren't they?
I LOVE the photo of you in your sidebar by the way!! You are a very beautiful lady!
Hugs,
Robin

Nancy,
What beautiful pieces of lace Heidi has created. She really is such a talented girl. You must feel so very proud of her. It's lovely to think that her lace creations will be passed down through the family and become heirlooms which will be appreciated and loved by everyone.
Hugs, Angela

I have never seen coloured lace but like them all. But white ones are my favourite. Heidi is so talented, but you too!

Incredible the things Heidi makes! That girl has more talent in her little finger than I do in my whole body. I can't get over how beautiful Heidi's lace is.

Was Heidi a crafty kid? If so what kind of crafts? Maybe thats an idea for a new post and a picture of little Heidi :-)
