I bought this needlepoint in Canada a couple years ago. I went into the shop hunting Anchor yarn and came out with all this yarn plus this canvas. Needless to say, my wallet was lighter by the time I got out of the store.
I am trying to motivate myself to now finish it. I really like it but out of sight out of mind. I thought if I put it out on the frame, I might get with it.
This is the prettiest pattern and you have done so much already! I love the poppies! This will be the year you finish it. Just do a little bit each month and before you know it, you will be almost done. That is what I am doing with Silent Sampler and Beatrix Potter. I really would like to finish my cat neeldepoint I bought in the Cotswolds too. Think I can get all that done in 2008???
It's very pretty gramma! you really should finish it! but like I have alot of room to talk right!?! ha ha ha....I'm the WORST at finishing things! :oP I'm sure it will be beautiful when you're finished!
When you see that cornfield you instantly get summer feelings. It reminds me of the farm of my grandparents: me walking behind the mowing machine 'saving' the poppies, cornflowers etc. Lots of vases were filled then ... I hope you will finish it because that field looks so good!
This is a beautiful canvas Nancy! I love the red poppies. Maybe if you stitched one of those it would motivate you to do the rest. I also have some needlepoint tucked away that I was thinking about just yesterday! I should get mine out soon too!
I love this pattern! The picture is just beautiful! I am glad to hear that you are going to be doing some stitching! Hmmmm, maybe Heidi is getting you thinking eigh???? :) Love you!
This is gorgeous, Nancy, and I think you should definitely finish it. I should drag out my needlepoint UFO that was a Christmas present from my FIRST husband in 1975. LOL

What a pretty design Nancy. If you can do needlepoint your half way to being a cross stitcher :-)
Looking forward to seeing the finished poppies.
Oh you must finish this, it will be gorgeous - reminds me of a Claude Monet painting.
