Heidi, Kristy and I were discussing cross stitching on Skype one day. I said I would like to try something because I want to do Henry VIII and his wives. I think that would be way to big a project to be my first. Kristy found this book online and we ordered it for me to pick up at Border Books.
The pattern I most wanted that we saw online is not in the book. It was these children running after a double decker bus. Anyway, I like this one so this might be my first choice.

Hello Nancy
Thanks for the nice comment on my blog.Oh this book is so beautiful!!!
They children on this swing looks

wonderful.It's real a hard decision.
Have a nice week
Regina
Now that is a hard decision! Although this may sound wierd coming from me....go with the project you are most likely to finish.
It's kind of like a do as I say and not as I do thing. :)
These are lovely Nancy - know you'll do a great job.
So glad you mentioned Heidi's birthday is soon - I didn't know the date.
Thanks for the comments on my room makeover - going slow but sure as I paint the furniture now. Luckily our weather is warm so I can open the windows - the oil-based paint has a rather strong odor and I need fresh air!
Nothing stops you people! You amaze me. I would be so completely intimidated by that. You go, Nancy! Make sure you take pictures and show us how you're progressing!!
Love,
Julie
They are cute..is there anything that the ladies in your family cannot do?? LOL
Hugs,
Robin
Some of my early projects were All Our Yesterdays - such fun to stitch.
What a lovely book. Mine were in kits but it was all a long, long time ago.
