IT'S HEIDI'S FAULT

Listening to the music on Celebrate the Seasons, Heidi's blog, made me want to see Mary Poppins again. I have been wanting to buy this movie for some time. I went hunting it and you can only buy the Anniversary Edition, and it is $20. Yesterday, my cousin and I went to the Hartville Flee Market and there it was. I got it for $5.oo in VCR. I just watched it. It is still a great movie.

Yeah! You found it dear little mother! It really is the best movie. And did you pay attention to my favorite nanny that blows away. :) I could get you into worse trouble than finding Mary Poppins and watching it...over and over and over.

Love and hugs ~

You are right Nancy - this is a great movie! I remember vividly seeing it at the movies when it was released. Mary Poppins was on TV not too long ago, but I only caught bits and pieces of it. Enjoy!

Oh I love it too...years and years ago we bought the entire Disney collection on VHS and then everything is getting released on DVD..so we sold our VHS in a yard sale and re-bought some of them on DVD....
I hope you have a wonderful week!
Hugs,

Hi there!
I'm so glad you stopped by and visited my Blog...thank you for the kinds words. When I often read about the Blog World and how it brings so many of Hobbiest together this would be a perfect example. I love old movies as well...and Mary Poppins makes everyone turn into a child...happy and cheerful. Wish more would learn to love these oldies.
Give me a musical any day,
Thanks for looking me up.

This was my favorite movie as a child. I had the album and would sing the songs all the time! I even had the accent down! lol

I love Mary Poppins too!

Are you watching How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? It's an American Idol type show to find a new Maria for Andrew Lloyd Webbers Broadway production of The Sound of Music. I have been watching it and I can't get those songs out of my head....Doe a dear a female dear....... :-)

When my oldest was about 2 she loved that movie so much that it was all she wanted to watch. 12 years later she can still sing all the songs,
