NOW ABOUT SCRAPBOOKING

In order to keep with organizing my craft/sewing room, I went to Joann Fabrics and bought a second paper storage container. I have two stacks and some card stock there waiting to be put into the drawers. I found this kitchen paper stack on sale 40% off, so I bought two of them. For a very long time, I have been planning to do receipe books for the family of family handwritten receipes. I am going to start with my Mom's receipes. I want to have a picture of each person in the kitchen if possible, along with their receipes. I never saw a kitchen stack. It was in the ad, so I went hunting it. I am making six books. I think all of this paper along with the other stacks might not fit after all.

This is a scrapbook of my school years that I made a few years ago. I had the pictures for every school year, so it was fun. The stickers are some I bought at Joann's also this week. They are for the cookbooks. I already bought a lot of the stickers.

These are books I will be using. I have four more waiting to be done along with these. I think I have most of the receipes, but I will have to look up some pictures. I think I am going to start by picking the paper and getting each page ready to be sure I have all the paper I will need while I can still get it. Kristy will laugh if she reads this, I told her never again, after I made the first scrapbook under her guidance. She is an expert, and I am not kidding.

Nancy, making cookbooks filled with family recipes is a wonderful project...I like all the pretty papers and cute embellishments. It's really nice to be including photos too. I hope you share pictures when finished and maybe even a recipe...hugs,Linda

Nancy, you amaze me bz you do a bit of everything! I don't scrapbook but my daughter does. My other daughter has just started getting into making her own jewelry so it takes three of us to cover what you do yourself! This is a fun idea about the recipe books and what a great gift!

Love your room, I'm still dreaming of having a formal scrap room. I am having a scrap night at the house tonight with girlfriends. We used to go to Mindy's or Pam's Place on Friday nights, but now that both are closed, we have only a few places in town to even get supplies. Keep it up. I have about 3 different projects I'm working on right now too!

Nancy - I have my scrapbooking supplies stored in two enormous plastic storage tubs. I was really into scrapbooking big time -going to scrapbooking parties. I also have bought many things (on sale) at JoAnn Fabrics. The recipe project is really a wonderful idea. I think that you can do just about anything and you keep at it.
Love,
Sweetie
