PROJECT COMPLETE

Taking this picture in the evening was not the best idea, but I just finished it at 8:30PM.
To answer Heidi, this is all new yarn. Some of the colors you have seen before though. It is made with an afghan hook and it is called the afghan stitch. The stitches get put on the long needle shown below, then they are chrocheted back off. Over and over and boring. I cannot believe I made it three times. There will probably never be another one.

This afghan is made in long strips then chrocheted together. I put an edge of single chrochet around it, then a row of half doubles. You can do as many finishing rows as you want to.

Oh, and all four books are read too.

Nancy,
The afghan is lovely. I really like the colors.
I went to the library a few days ago and checked out a book on tape. I haven't listened to it yet and you have already read four books. I better get busy! LOL

Take care
Teresa

Guess I should not ask you to make me one then??? :) No but you know I won't as this is too modern for me. Bully is going to love it! I think the green really adds a soft zing to it. When do you see him again? You are something, little mother, having also finished all four of those books!

Love and hugs ~
Heidi

You've been very busy Nancy!
The afghan turned out beautifully and is a lovely gift.
I never heard of that technique but then I am beginner status at crochet.
Four books under your belt as well.
You'll have to list your new book selections.

Lovely afghan, Nancy. Bill/Bully is a lucky guy. I'm supposing he is your son? Congrats on the "read" books and nice choices.
