SAD AND HAPPY ALL AT ONCE
I just put the last stitch on the last of the six wives. I am going to be sad to not be doing the people anymore. This is Catherine Parr. Heidi also said she will be sad to not be reading anymore history lessons to me. Anybody know anymore historic cross stitches of people? I now have to complete the motifs and then the border. This has been so much fun for me.

This has been fun for me too Nancy! I have enjoyed watching your progress very much. You have done a gorgeous job, and the colors are wonderful. Don't worry - if you are interested in stitching now you will find plenty of patterns!
I think we need to start searching some British stitching sites for more of this kind of pattern. Of course, we can also ask Miss Marple and Gigi if they know of any floating around over there. :) You would think there would be some more of them. I have my fingers and toes crossed that the border works out for you mother. Break it up by starting it now and then stop to do the shield or you might become very bored with it. Just my little unasked for tip. :)

Just lovely! You've done a wonderful job and the colors are so vibrant. I'm thinking about historical figures and watching for cross stitch for them. I just love looking for "stuff" online!
Congratulations Nancy! You haven't been stitching very long at all but what an awesome job you've done.
I hope when this is finally finished you'll be able to find something you love just as much to stitch on.
Nancy, you have done a great job in finishing the persons on your stitchinigwork. Did you ever visited the King and his Ladies? In London you can have diner with them at the Beefeater near the Towerbridge. I was there when I was a young girl of 18 years old and had a wonderful evening.
You still can go there!

What fantastic progress you are making. It must be such fun to stitch and to learn the hispory all at the same time.
Having lots of reference points already stitched should help you to constantly check that you are on track so, doing more motifs will definitely help :>)
