WEAR RED ON FRIDAYS

I googled Wear Red on Fridays and got this picture and with it was a wonderful song. I bet if I was more computer savy, I could put it on my blog. Well, I am certainly not but I want you to at least see the picture. The link is http://www.redshirtfridays.org/ You can hear the nice song they sing as a tribute.
This is one of my main reasons for wearing Red on Fridays. Mitch, my Grandson is now serving in Iraq. I pray for him everyday and he is never out of my thoughts. Kristen, Haali and Mitchell also. They are missing him so much. Stay safe Mitch, we love you.

This is Jason, also my Grandson now. Thank God he is now safely home with Mandie and Zoe and stationed at Ft Bragg. He is a wonderful soldier and we love him also.
My husband and I never miss wearing Red on Fridays for the troops and have for several years. On google, I see Canada also does it. God Bless all of the Men and
Women in the military and keep an angel on their shoulders.

Hi Nancy, since reading about wearing red on your blog, I've been doing it too. It just a small tribute to all those serving and protecting our country. I continue to pray for their safe return too. I hope Mitch will be home soon. Now I'm going to listen to the music. Have a happy weekend... Hugs, Linda

Yep mother! One down being back home and one to go. I know no other person as my mother than that you were patriotic so I cannot expect anything but this from you. You have always had a deep love for your country.

Love and hugs ~

My thoughts are with all the troops to stay safe. We should all wear red to show we are thinking of them.

Hi Gramma, that is wonderful! I know that there are so many people that are supporting the troops and what many people forget is that by supporting the troops you put a smile on the families of those soldiers that are putting all on the line! I love you and thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!
