MY EMBROIDERY MACHINE

When I decide to do an design on my embroidery machine, I try them out first on a piece of felt or fabric. I bought an Amish design CD and did this long felt piece to see some of them. I have done many of this design, there are many more designs on the CD. It is very expensive to buy them..
I can download free designs from the computer. This is some of them I downloaded a couple years ago at Christmas.

When Mitchell was smaller, I did this little boy for him on a sweatshirt. Sometimes I am not really happy with how they turn out, so I never do them again.

This snowman I made many times. The stocking I put on an apron I made for Heidi for Christmas one year. I did it like the night before Christmas. Maybe I can get her to show it on her blog sometime.

This trike is just like the one we ride. Ours is black. After trying this one, I put it on a lot of shirts. I usually put our names under the bike. George has lots of shirts with them on. I have also done them in different colors for our friends, and also Goldwing bikes for the friends who are still on two wheels. Not many of us are anymore. Last year, we didn't ride at all. George wasn't feeling up to par. Hope you enjoy my trip through embroidery land. I have lots more samples, just picked out a few.

I remember many of these. One of your test pieces is on my Valentine's tree. :) Another sits with my nutcrackers each Christmas.

Love and hugs ~

What a fun hobby. You do so many creative things and I keep finding out you do many more! Now, of course, I find out that you're a biker?!!! How fun for you. I have friends with a Harley and I swear they're gone nearly every weekend in the summer on the bike. Good for you, you certainly know how to live and create!! Cindy

Hi Nancy!
Pretty embroidery! I can only imagine all the great projects you can make with all those designs. I bet you can't wait for Spring and enjoy that bike again.

Nancy, Your embroidery projects are beautiful. I like every single one of the designs. I think that we have something else in common. Hubby and I rode a Harley for years. About 15 years ago he bought his first 4-wheeler for hunting on the beautiful mountains in Hill Valley. On summer Sunday afternoons and in the evenings we often took rides with friends. His newest 4-wheeler only has about 20 hours on it.
Love,
Sweetie

I didn't know you could actually embroider such lovely things like these on a machine, amazing. My machine is so old but does OK for what I need to sew these days. My years of Vogue patterns and keeping up with fashion are over I guess - it's more comfort and store bought knits now - they go along with aching backs and comfy flat shoes!!

Know that we are keeping your dear Heidi close to our hearts here Nancy - may she be well soon.
Hugs - Mary.
