WARRIOR UPDATE

Just a quick entry to say hi and to show you my progress on the warrior. I cannot tell you how many times I have to change thread in a postage stamp area. I am happy with it so far. I think the challenge will be the blanket. Oh well, as a man told me in a stitching shop in Holland, "One stitch at a time". At the time, I was afraid to try anything. It was before Henry.
It is only 26 degrees here and I am getting ready to leave for church. Have a good day.

Wow, Nancy, what a progress picture! I can see that there are many colour changes but this makes the finished picture so interesting to look at, all those small details. But in spite of this you are stitching with smoking needles, lol.

Nancy, you are moving right along and he is just wonderful. When you take a closer look you can really see the detail and color changes....this is an awesome piece. Have a cozy day, with it so cold, it'll be a perfect stitching day...hugs, Linda

Oh my gosh, look at the beautiful progress you've made! She's a beauty. I think the color changes make them more beautiful too but they can drive you crazy! I like the challenge depending on my mood. Sometimes I have to take an easier pattern though just to save my sanity!! I have an appointment withe the eye doctor coming up and I'm hoping we can get my eyes set again right so I can see well enough to do more detail work like this, at least finish up what I have supplies for!

The warrior is really coming along very fast. Diane and I will have to gather up all our WIPs and bring them to you since you get done so fast. Then she and I can just start all new projects...lol!

Just put on a warm sweater and an afghan over your lap and I will let you sit and stitch lots of things from my basket. :)

Love and hugs ~

Maybe you should be in North Carolina now! It's been a lovely weekend - in the low 60's and sunny. I ventured over to SuzAnna's this afternoon to see the gals and of course came home with some pretty things! This evening I'm doing a crackle finish on the top of dining room sideboard - hope it turns out well otherwise I'll be sanding like crazy tomorrow!!

Love and hugs - Mary.

The warrior looks so good. It is all the detail, including all those color changes that make it so beautiful.
