My Toyshop Dollhouse

This is my Toyshop. The bottom floor is the toyshop and the top two floors the apartment.
George put this one together, then Bill got into the act. He is the outside finisher.

This is the inside of the toyshop. The stove is from Holland and you can actually burn a tea light candle in it. There are many toys in the shop. Hope you like browsing.

This is the livingroom and kitchen in the house. I wish you could see inside the front pan.
it is a very tiny dutch smoked sausage, rookworst, from Holland.

The top floor is the bedroom and bath. I tried to put as much as possible into a very tiny space.
The next one you see will be my general store.

This looks like a Dutch canal house and needs Toy Shop written as Spelgoedwinkel. :)

Very nice but then they all are!

What a really lovely toy shop. There is so much to see in all of your doll's houses. I love all the little toys and the tiny cash register is so cute. My sister and I had a toy post office when we were girls and there was a cash register just like this. We also had a tiny little cooker with pans and minature food. This has brought back all those wonderful memories...thank you so much :>)

My mom will go nuts when I tell her you've posted more dollhouse pictures. She's home painting the ceilings of hers now.

Love,
Julie

In a recent issue of Interweave Knits there is an article of a woman who knits to that scale using medical wire and thread.

People think that I'm crazy when I tell them that I knit my socks on 2mm needles. They must classify this woman as certifiable.

Oh, I love your dollhouse. What a great idea, toyshop with home above.
I am doing a 13 room dollhouse now. It is a lot of work, but I love doing it. Just a gentle reminder the Attic has pictures and prints for the dollhouse. Check it out some time.

You have SHOPS too????
How cool is that? I just want to finish my house and then there's sort of another one that someone gave me missing some parts and if I can get Joe to help me manufacture some, I will have 2 houses Then maybe I will try a shop. Someone around here (blogland) has a sweet shop that she shows from time to time. That would be fun!

Thanks for telling me where to find the photos!
