I THINK I NEED TO KNIT AGAIN

A while back, I showed you a knitting book I bought from one of Debbie Macombers book series. It was patterns from the A Good Yarn book. While shopping at Joann Fabrics last week, I saw she now has more out. Even one from the book I haven't read yet, Twenty Wishes. This one caught my eye and I just hadddddddd to have it. It is from A Shop On Blossom Street.

This hat, scarf, and mittens patterns are really nice. I just might have to try them out.

Now, I am just about sure I know someone who would say, "Mother, I need this shawl" Wonder who that could be????

In the story, one of the ladies wanted a more complicated pattern and so she knit this lacy shawl, not the one the others in the group were doing. Have your read this series? It is really a nice set by Debbie Macomber and I think must reading. I have never read a book by her that I didn't like.

Ohhh that is nice. I quit knitting about 5 years ago. I took up stitching and never looked back. But I do Love a nice hand made sweater.!
Yes we also wear Red on Fridays here for our troops.
I'm not sure if we are as Faithful with it though.
I will make a point to for the soldiers in your family and all the troops out there!

Since you are offering...okay I will let you make me those shawls for me...if you must...LOL! I love them both and could NEVER choose one so would have to have both. I use the last one (the knobby yarn) up at the cottage all the time. :) I really need to start these books but first have to finish the Monica Ferris one I am reading now. It is almost done although I still don't know whodunnit.

Love and hugs ~

Hey Nancy, I've never read a Debbie book I didn't like either, they are all wonderful. I need to pick up her knitting pattern books, maybe tomorrow when I go shoppping! I love all the shawls in the book.
Hugs,

Hi Nancy...I'm a huge fan of DM too. Twenty Wishes is soooo good I know you'll love it.

All the patterns look like great projects. I'm wondering what you'll do first. Is the lacy shawl as complicated as it looks? Enjoy your day...hugs, Linda

I've got that series by Debbie Macomber. It was the same with all the three books. When I opened the book I couldn't stop reading until I had finished the book.

I've been seeing the pattern books for awhile and just might have to treat myself to one very soon.

Hello Nancy,
Thank you so much for your welcoming words, so sweet!

Happy knitting, it looks great!

I love that scrapbook you made for Zoe, what a treasure that must be for her, now and in the future!

Henry and the wives look royal indeed. The last parts and ... you did it! Piece of cake, like we told you :)

The projects you chose are really beautiful. Particularly that shawl. Looking forward to seeing it finished here.

I love Debbie Macomber but haven't read her Blossom Street series so far. But it won't take long ...
