APPLE SEASON AGAIN AND FINISHES

Once again, the fall season brings apples to Ohio farms. At Sunny Slopes, we can buy apples for fifty cents a pound. We can choose from several different kinds and pick them out one at a time. They are grown right on the property of the store. My problem is knowing which ones to pick out.

BoldThis same store sells pumpkins and gourds and wonderful cider. They have baked goods and cheeses and meats also.
Saturday is the craft show, and I have been making some last minute items. I made this hat and scraf set yesterday.

The two hats I made this week also. I will take pictures of the table when I get it all set up. Maybe I can do something else soon. Like my Warrior again, or, yes Heidi, the snowman pattern you sent me also.

Yes, dear mother, you need to make us kids building you snowpeople. You need to have it ready for winter and your snowman tree time. :-) Christmas will be upon us before we know it. I am listening to carols on my computer now as I write this.

I am going to make apples and custard for our dessert tonight. Yum! And yes, I did say custard. Jos brought some back when he went to England. Want some? :-)

Love and hugs ~

Now that's fresh! I need to hurry and get some fresh apples to store before it storms again. A friend of mine offered them to me, I just need to get the time to go pick them.

Oh, these pictures make my mouth water. Just a couple of days ago I had a wonderful pumpkin cream soup. Oh, so delicious.
I wish you all the best for the craft show tomorrow.
