I'VE BEEN FRAMED

Most of you know, this warrior went into hiding for the year I was making all the ponchos and scarves and hats for the craft show. Well, at last, he is in his frame and ready to go to Bill's apartment to live now.
I found the frame at Joann Fabrics, and yes Heidi, I know, if I would have left the glass out, there would not be a glare. Oh well, I left it in. I just pressed it this morning and thought I was finished and no, I found more backstitching to do. I am going to miss him now but after a couple other projects, I will do the Squaw. The mat is green and the frame is black. It doesn't show too well.

Hello Nancy,

Congratulations on your beautiful finish! What a nice frame this is, it's beautiful with that passe-partout in green. You've done a great job.

Have a nice weekend & American hug,

Whow Nancy, you did a great job on your warrior! The frame goes perfect with it. Again I envy you for having Joann Fabrics near to you!

That has to feel good! A job well done. I like the color of the frame and the passe-partout. It brings out the warrior.
So one project is finished, more to go?

Hi Nancy,

I love your warrior it is stitched and finished so well, the frame really is beautiful for it. I know Bill will be honoured to have it hanging in his home.

Thank you for sharing.

Love it mother! The mat was the right color. It is just the right accent to bring the indian out. Now about that frame...warn Bully that I will steal it and leave him that indian...lol. I love that frame! Great job. Did he hang it already?

Love and hugs ~

He is exquisite! There's just something noble about him. You did a beautiful job. You give me hope that maybe some day when I don't work on the computer so much that I can go back to doing counted cross-stitch. I love doing it. Of course I have patterns galore and thread and fabric just waiting to be done. I actually am in the middle (literally) of one I'd really like to finish some day. For now the eye doctor says I overuse my eyes on the computer and so it will have to wait. That's why I sew on my machine! I'm sure Bill will absolutely cherish this warrior that his mom made with her own two hands. Great job on the framing too. :)

P.S. I always use glass on mine too but I have them swap it out for non-glare glass unless the stitching is double matted or the frame is raised for some reason and then it's the good old glare glass. I just like the stitching protected.

Wow wow wow that is soooo beautiful. Great job.!!!!!!!!!!
Perfect choice of frame.
I never use glass anymore.
It was always a problem with smoke but no-one here smokes in my home...lol.
I'm actually changing some of my frames to glass free, or the non- glare.
