THE SHAMROCK

The Shamrock

There's a dear little plant that grows in our isle,
'Twas Saint Patrcik himself, sure, that set it;
And the sun of his labor with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.

It grows through the bog, through the brake,
Through the mireland and they call it
the dear little Shamrock of Ireland.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day to you Nancy and what a sweet Irish Blessing.
Are you cooking corned beef and cabbage? I am...we love it, especially the left overs for sandwiches. What's funny is this is the only day of the year I ever fix corned beef...go figure.
I like the new look of your blog...it's great and perfect for you...hugs, Linda

Hi Nancy..I love the patriotic look of your blog...how nice! I bet you were sad to see those Snowmen go.

We are having the most interesting weather...rain, hail, sleet and snow,isn't it supposed to be Spring?
