IS IT SNOWING, HOPE NOT

I showed you a few entries back that Heidi sent me a gift in the mail and it was a Gathering of Snowmen. Tonight I started stitching them while watching Dancing With the Stars. It is now too late to finish the second one so I am off to bed after I finish this entry. They are fun to do Heidi. Thanks again.

Since I have finally decided I want to paint my kitchen (Salute) a really nice red, and then use white paneling for the bottom, chair rail. Not sure when this will happen, but I am thinking of what I will hang up. I bought a couple things. I decided to do this angel with the kitchen in mind. I found this white frame and blue mat so it works. She will just have to fly around till I am ready to hang her up.
Friday, we will be leaving on a bus trip. The trip is called Autumn on the Mississippi. We have two days on paddle wheel river boats and then bus to several other events. The first night we go to Madison, Wisconson. The last day we will be in Moline, Illinois, then home on the first of October. I haven't decided yet whether I will take my laptop. This will probably be my final entry until I get home. Stay well everyone. I will visit everyone's blogs yet tomorrow and Thursday.

Well mother, see now why you use the darker fabric for these snowmen? And I knew you would have fun stitching it because of your love of snowpeople. Did you name these first two? Your angel is just fabulous! Now would you quit it and slow down. You are really showing all of us stitchers up that have been stitching for years and can never keep up with you. LOL!

Love and hugs ~
Heidi

Nancy, have a wonderful trip! That sounds like so much fun.
Your little snowmen are so cute and the framed fairy looks so pretty.
Like Heidi I am astounded at how much you manage to get done. I think I need you over here to give me some time management lessons!

Hello Nancy! Yes, I already made a birth sampler for Sofia, so this is the last one. Do you remember the Beatrix Potter sampler hanging in the staircase? That was Sofia's choice. You can see a picture of her with the sampler on my blog, date November 20., 2007.
I love your snowmen very much!
I bet your flying angel will guard the house while you're gone. I wish you a very nice bus trip!!!

Hugs, Carolien

Hello Nancy, you are such a fast stitching lady! It is amazing what you accomplish. I love stitching as well, but I cannot keep up with your speed. Your snowmen are lovely. They will be finished long before X-mas! groetjes Sonja

Dear Nancy - haven't had much time to comment - forgive me. So much to do before leaving for almost a month, you know how it is. Bob's spending this evening paying bills and other fun (not!) things.

Just want to tell you I'll try to keep up with you while I'm in France - taking the laptop. Will also try to post along the way.

Stay well and remember I'll toss a kiss to Heidi as I fly out of Gatwick Thur. morning - that's about as close as I'll be to her.

Hugs - Mary.
