HOPE YOU VOTE

Hope we won't need this sign after today. I Think this could prove to be one of our most important elections ever. I think by now, everyone knows I am a very patriotic person. I love our country.
We just got home from voting and the lines were not so bad. We probably waited about a half hour. They gave you a choice of paper ballot or machine. I hope you vote today, if you haven't already.

Heidi told us about this dutch TV show and of all places, they are in Canton, Ohio and are staying through the voting today. I think it is ironic that Heidi is living there and born in Canton.

EMBEDDED IN STARK COUNTY Dutch television cameraman Leon Mennens and Dutch reporter Henk van der Aa cover an appearance by Lawrence Dordea, the Republican candidate for Stark County sheriff, during a candidates' forum at the North Branch Library in Canton last week. The two are part of a team of reporters from a major Dutch television network extensively covering the presidential election and daily life in the Canton area. REPOSITORY BOB ROSSITER

I too hope we don't need the sign. I have to go after work to vote today. Luckily work ends at 2:30 so I hope the lines won't be too long at that time. Let's pray for a good outcome.

Funny that now at the end of months being there, they finally put something about it in The Repository. We will be watching it again tonight while eating dinner if Jos is not too late. They will be in Doug's Diner. Do you know where that is?

Love and hugs ~
Heidi

Nancy, I'm watching the coverage on TV of voting in our area and in the larger towns there are long lines. Your post is very patriotic. I am patriotic also. I get teary eyed when I hear "The Star Spangled Banner." We are so fortunate to live in a country with so many freedoms. I, too, hope that we don't need the sign.
Love,
Sweetie

How funny that they are Canton Ohio of all places! LOL I didn't vote today, but I mailed my absentee ballot over a week ago. Since I am still a legal resident of Ohio, that is where I vote :o) GO McCAIN!!!!! I really hope he pulls through this election on top or I seriously fear for our country. I don't normally talk politics at all, but this year I am much more passionate about it. This election will effect our military, which means most of my family directly. Ok I'm going to shut up now! Just going to pray McCain wins! Love you Gramma!
